Troubleshooting your connection
Cable and DSL
Unplug the hydro for your modem and router and wait at least a minute. Plug them both back in, wait another minute and try to load a webpage.
Unplug the hydro from your router, then from the back of your router locate the cable plugged into the WAN or Internet port (this cable will have a small square on it). Follow the power wire until you find the large power adapter, unplug it, wait at least a minute. Plug them both back in, wait another minute and try to load a webpage.
Checking your Spam folder
Login to your @kent.net email account using our webmail
Once logged into your account click on the Spam folder on the left hand side. If a message is in there that is not spam you may either select it and choose not spam (gray buttons at the bottom) or select it and drag it to your Inbox. It will then appear in your Inbox. This helps the mail server learn what you consider spam/not spam. Also take note of your Address Whitelist. This is under Options > Spam Control > Address whitelist - any email addresses listed here will not go to your spam folder. Whenever you send to an email address for the first time it automatically gets added to this whitelist.
