Highspeed DSL Specific
- I'm moving, will that affect my DSL service?
- Contact Internet Kent to request change of service to your new address (and to see
if DSL is available in your new area). We recommend that you initiate your
request 1 - 2 weeks prior to your move. Keep in mind that
your DSL order will be processed after your phone line has been
activated. To expedite the process, it's a good idea to request to move
your DSL service at the same time you request to move your phone service.
Remember to take your DSL modem and filters with you. You'll need filters for all phone lines in your new home that will be in use (including faxes, etc.).
Once you arrive in your new home, you can begin using your Internet Kent DSL service on your Activation Date.
- I am going on vacation, may I pause my account until I return?
- We require 30 days notice if you will be away longer than one month. If you will be away less than one month we recommend leaving the DSL activated on your phone line due to reactivation charges.
- How do I cancel my account?
- We require 30 days notice if you wish to discontinue your Internet Kent DSL access. Your rental DSL modem must be returned to Internet Kent undamaged and in working order. Failure to return the equipment, or if the equipment is damaged, will result in a $200 charge.
